Our veteran discrimination attorneys have decades of accumulated experience before the EEOC, state EEO-compliance agencies, and in various courts. They are able to advise employers on avoiding discrimination charges and, if necessary, provide vigorous defense in agency and court proceedings. We regularly represent employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, state discrimination agencies (such as the VTAG, CHRO, MCAD, NYCCHR, and NYSDHR), and in state and federal courts on discrimination, harassment, disability, age, and retaliation claims. We also defend landlords and property owners against discrimination and fair housing allegations.
We provide many services to help employers prevent discrimination and harassment claims. We work with them to design and draft policies on prohibited discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, and we develop affirmative action plans. We also conduct supervisor and employee training, and many of our attorneys have successfully completed the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination course for trainers on prohibited discrimination and harassment training. Finally, we are able to conduct internal investigations of claims or guide management through their own investigations.
