Brendan L. Hughes, an associate at Sullivan, Hayes & Quinn, LLC, obtained his B.A. from Boston College in 2007 and his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 2010.

Before joining Sullivan, Hayes & Quinn, LLC in 2018, Mr. Hughes worked for four years as an associate at a Hartford, Connecticut firm which specialized in the representation of Labor Unions and employee benefit funds. Mr. Hughes handled matters before the National Labor Relations Board and State Labor Relations Board (NLRB), employee benefit litigation in United States Federal Court and defense against discrimination complaints filed before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD), the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO), and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) deferral agency.  

He is admitted to the State Bar in Massachusetts and Connecticut and the Federal Bar in Massachusetts and Connecticut. At Sullivan, Hayes & Quinn, LLC, Mr. Hughes has focused on representing and advising employers in labor and employment law matters such as successfully defending cases alleging discrimination and wrongful employment, employment litigation, employment benefits, private and public sector labor relations. Mr. Hughes’ experience includes representing and advising private sector employers, non-profits, cities, towns and school districts.
